Redefining a New Landscape for Zinc-Aluminum Surface Treatment

When “intelligent manufacturing” moves from concept to rigid policy requirements, and the “dual-carbon” goals collide with intensifying competition in manufacturing, the coating industry is entering an unavoidable turning point of transformation.

On one side, labor costs continue to rise, homogenized competition intensifies, and price wars escalate;
on the other, there is real pressure to reduce costs, improve efficiency, cut emissions, and ensure consistent quality.

What the industry truly needs is no longer “cheaper equipment,”
but rather—through technological iteration of equipment—to reconstruct production methods and value logic.

This is precisely the core reason why Junhe Technology continues to invest in digitally intelligent coating equipment.

01 The key to breaking through the industry lies in “improving efficiency.”

In the field of zinc-aluminum micro-coating processing, capacity bottlenecks, energy consumption pressure, and quality stability have long constrained the growth potential of processing enterprises.

At the policy level: intelligent manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and digitalization have become clear directions.

At the industry level: data assets are being incorporated into enterprises’ core asset systems.

At the production level: reducing energy consumption, lowering labor dependency, and stabilizing quality have become rigid requirements.

Equipment is precisely the key leverage point connecting policy, technology, and production efficiency.

02 The underlying logic of Junhe’s digitally intelligent coating equipment

Junhe does not simply interpret “digital intelligence = adding systems + automation.”
Instead, it reconstructs coating equipment from four dimensions: production line structure, process collaboration, logistics methods, and data circulation.

Taking a digitally intelligent integrated coating line with an annual capacity of 20,000 tons of fasteners as an example, the overall design follows four core principles:

① Modular Integration · Plug-and-Play

  • Each process unit (cleaning, shot blasting, coating, curing) operates as an independent module
  • Flexible, assembly-based connections enable rapid installation, expansion, and upgrades
  • Module-level maintenance reduces downtime

② Digital Connectivity · Intelligent Collaboration

  • Equipment embedded with communication modules
  • Real-time data interaction with MES, WMS, and AGV systems
  • Synchronized flow of batch, process, and capacity data

③ Flexible Production · Efficient Adaptability

  • Rapid switching between multi-variety, small-batch, and continuous production
  • Adaptable to rush orders, urgent orders, and mixed-flow production scenarios
  • Using “equipment flexibility” to respond to “order uncertainty”

④ Green & Energy-Efficient · Smart Manufacturing

  • Energy-saving process chain design
  • Precise energy consumption control
  • Balancing high efficiency with low emissions

03 Junhe’s equipment evolution path: from standalone machines to integrated production lines

Cleaning Stage | High Efficiency · Low Energy Consumption · Flexible Scheduling

The JUNHE® QUDR0180 multi-tank fully automatic cleaning machine features flexible multi-tank switching and supports robotic handling. Transfer paths are dynamically adjusted based on process parameters, enabling precise adaptation to different workpiece cleaning requirements. Compared with traditional degreasing methods, energy consumption is reduced by more than 30%. As a first-of-its-kind system, this equipment has already been established as an enterprise standard.

Shot Blasting Stage | Balanced Cycle Time · Stable and Controllable

The shot blasting machine adopts a modular loading and unloading structure. After processing, workpieces show no rusting, no over-blasting, and no residual dust. Combined with a pulse dust collection system, it enables environmentally friendly production and lays a solid foundation for the stability of subsequent coating processes.

Coating Core | High Yield + Anti-Liquid Retention

The JUNHE® TDST0800R fully automatic gantry coating machine and the JUNHE® TDSP0500 six-basket planetary coating machine integrate low-speed material leveling with high-speed centrifugal coating. Liquid retention is controlled to <5‰, with a coating pass rate of >99.7%.
Paired with robotic handling systems, they enable precise batch control and eliminate the risk of material mixing.

The six-basket planetary coating machine, based on a planetary centrifugal structure, is specifically suited for automotive fasteners, blind-hole parts, and applications requiring high consistency—achieving an optimal balance between high drying efficiency and structural stability.

The fully automatic gantry coating machine adopts a dual-basket in-and-out design, supporting flexible modes such as manual loading for large parts and automatic loading for small parts, while maintaining the same operating cycle time as conventional coating machines.

Curing Stage | Energy-Saving · Space-Efficient · Traceable

The JUNHE® LBGE3115 three-layer step-type box furnace and JUNHE® LBGE3415 two-layer step-type box furnace feature a vertical structural design, saving over 60% of floor space and reducing labor requirements by 70%. Integrated waste heat recovery technology lowers energy consumption by more than 30% compared with traditional equipment.

Using a pallet-based stepwise operation mode, the system prevents batch mixing and supports full-batch traceability. With an exhaust gas collection efficiency of up to 95%, these furnaces successfully transform the traditionally high-energy-consuming curing process into a controlled, traceable, and stable production stage.

04 Digital intelligence is not only about today, but also about the future

At present, Junhe’s digitally intelligent coating equipment has achieved comprehensive breakthroughs and upgrades across all dimensions: a full-process traceability system ensures transparent and controllable production; flexible production design precisely adapts to diversified manufacturing needs; and a modularized, standardized equipment system not only significantly shortens installation cycles but also greatly improves maintenance efficiency.

On this solid foundation, the equipment will further carry advanced intelligent functions in the future, including intelligent scheduling to optimize production rhythm, energy optimization to support green manufacturing, process parameter modeling to ensure quality stability, and AI-assisted decision-making to enhance production accuracy—driving the evolution of equipment from a traditional “execution tool” into an important participant in production decision-making.

Equipment is not merely something to be “purchased and used,” but a critical infrastructure that shapes an enterprise’s future production model.

Junhe Technology is willing to work together with industry partners to use more stable, more efficient, and more sustainable coating equipment,

driving the coating industry away from “price competition” and toward “value creation.”
