Difference between zinc aluminum coating and zinc plating

Posted on 2018-08-09 1. Each layer of zinc and aluminum in the zinc aluminum coating is in a passive state , while the galvanized layer only has the passivation layer of 0.05~0.2μm on the outermost layer;

2. The zinc and aluminum sheets in the zinc aluminum coating play the full role of sacrificial anode protection, while the zinc coating will appear the waste of zinc after the passivation layer has been destroyed.

3. The inorganic acid component in the coating and the coating can protect the iron matrix at the same time when protecting the zinc and aluminum , while the zinc plating does not.

4. The zinc coating passivation layer at 70~100℃ degrees centigrade, the crystallization of water began to evaporate, resulting in passivation layer cracking, affect the corrosion resistance of zinc coating, and zinc aluminum coating at 260 degrees or higher temperature sintering, so on such phenomenon.
