zinc flake coating process

Posted on 2016-06-22 Zinc flake coating Is a new type of the corrosion resistance coating,it has been widely used,zinc flake coating process mainly is the base material,degreasing, derusting, coating, preheating, curing, cooling.
1. Degreasing: workpiece surface must be degreased,generally has three ways: organic solvent degreasing, water-based degreasing agent,high temperature carbonization degreasing.Whether degreasing thoroughly effective,will directly affect the adhesion of coating.
2. Derusting and deburring: the workpiece with rust or burr are strictly prohibited direct coating, must pass the derusting and deburring process, this process had better use mechanical method, avoid acid to prevent hydrogen embrittlement.
3. Coating:workpiece after degreasing and derusting must dipping,spraying or brushing asap.
4. Pre-heating: workpiece with zinc flake coating paint on the surface must  pre-heating 10-15 minutes  asap under the temperature of 120 + 20 ℃, to make the coating liquid water evaporation.
5. Curing:workpieces after pre-heating must curing under 300 ℃ high temperature,curing time 20-40 minutes, also can be appropriately raise the temperature to shorten curing time.
6. Cooling: Workpieces after curing must be fully cooled by cooling system for reprocessing or finished goods inspection.
